Psychological Services
The CLC’s assessment team consists of two licensed psychologists, two psychometrists and one assistant psychometrist. We primarily offer our services to organisations such as school boards and community agencies. Here is a complete description of the assessment services offered by the CLC team:
Psychoeducational assessment
(children and adolescents)

For learning difficulties such as reading, writing, mathematics.

To identify learning disabilities and attention-related difficulties.

Psychological assessment
(children, adolescents, and adults)

For suspicions of a mental health disorder.

Developmental assessment
(children and adolescents)

For suspicions of intellectual disability, borderline intellectual functioning, or autism spectrum disorder.
Consultation Services
We also offer consultation services. This service is typically brief. The goal of the consultation is to address a specific problem and/or to determine whether a more in-depth evaluation is necessary. We currently offer consultations with parents or school teams. Professional consultations are also offered.
