Stress/Anxiety Management​

​

This workshop, which first makes a distinction between anxiety and stress, wants to inform participants of the different human reactions to anxiety and the importance of identifying the specific causes of anxiety in order to implement effective coping strategies. Wellness strategies are also presented at the end of the workshop in order to reduce the level of stress experienced in daily life and better manage anxiety.

Fatigue Management​

​

This workshop offers an exploration of the factors that affect and increase the level of fatigue of people working in the post-covid context. Topics such as moral distress, moral injury and mental fatigue are discussed during this workshop. Finally, strategies and activities to add to the routine are presented in order to maintain balance and a state of well-being. ​

Sleep Management​

​

This workshop aims to encourage participants to  develop better sleep hygiene. Topics such as insomnia, the control of stimuli, the control of negative thoughts and the influence of the diet on sleep are discussed. Tips and strategies are also presented throughout the workshop

​

Compassion Fatigue​

​

This workshop proposes to explore the concept of Compassion Fatigue  so that participants are able to recognize the signs of compassion fatigue in their colleagues or themselves as well as to  develop an early intervention plan. Vicarious trauma, moral distress, exhaustion and chronic stress are also themes explored during this workshop.

Anger Management​

​

This workshop, which proposes to study the causes of anger and how it manifests itself in children, adolescents and adults, allows participants to explore more appropriate alternatives to reduce and manage feelings of anger, especially in difficult situations. It addresses in particular, the notion of identifying anger as one of the problems but also one of the solutions to the problem.

Healthy Relationship and Communication​

​

This workshop, which focuses on the importance of positive relationships and healthy communication in the workplace, presents several strategies for developing a healthy workplace where employees feel good. The many benefits associated with a workplace where the atmosphere between employees is positive are also discussed.

​

Resilience​

​

This workshop offers a first look at the concept of resilience and allows us to learn more about resilience as such as the characteristics of a resilient person. In addition, resilience-building strategies are presented. By the end of this workshop, participants will be able to begin their journey toward resilience.

​

Seasonal Affective Disorder​

​

This workshop discusses the influence of change of seasons on people’s mood, in particular seasonal affective disorder, also known as seasonal depression. In this workshop the precursors and causes of seasonal affective disorder are presented. It also discusses possible solutions and basic measures to take when you suspect seasonal depression.

Workshops offered by the CRRIDEC at a cost​

 

The CRRIDEC is a Regional Research and Intervention Centre for Economic and Community Development, and like the  Labelle Centre, is administrated under Le Groupe InnovaNor, the unifying organization for the Learning Integration Centres of l'Université de Hearst. These centres are extensions of l'UdeH’s programs and provide various services to our communities.​​

Cultural Competence in the Workplace

This workshop is an introduction, a means of initiating discussions and reflections about cultural competences in the workplace, in order to promote a healthy, open and welcoming organizational culture. This workshop is designed to welcome and integrate newcomers from abroad into an organization.

Leadership/collaborative work in the workplace (offered in French only)

This workshop aims to encourage participants to develop the reflex of taking into consideration what they know about themselves, then to apply this knowledge to improve themselves personally as a colleague and to facilitate collaborative work in the workplace.​
